Street market or Supermarket

As a man who suffered from male chauvinism seriously,I used to think that shopping is a privilege of women. So I do not go shopping untill I have to. But three years ago,something happened and it changed my view. I remember it was the first day I went to college. After I had put down my luggage,I went to the out of the school to have a look around. It was a romantic rainny day,and guess what,I found the street market left beside my school.

I saw a lot of middle-aged men and women talking with the sellers of fruit,clothes and softdrinks,it seems to me that they were instimate friends. So I said to myself,why not have a try. And then I walked to the seller of pineapple and talked to him. I bought a pineapple and bargin with him. And then I ate the pineapple while wandering around the street market and enjoy the simple things of life.

As far as I am concerned,I prefer street market to supermarket. Actually I think that nowadays the prices in supermarket are becoming lower and lower to meet the demands of people,but somehow I think the people,not only Chinese people,but people from all over the world,will enjoy street market much better. Because even though supermarket could help people to get the rid of a lot of trouble of bargining,but you would lose the fun of talking with people and communicating with each other. I think it is just one of problems in modern society. I mean the alianation of people and their fellow man. But street market is secure to this disease or illness of modern society. So I like street market.
